Duplicate e-mails in OE6

Am I in the right place? I just began using outlook express and heve set up several e-mail accounts. My problem is that one of my accounts (e-mail address) receives copies of the mail sent to a second account as well as its own.

What did I do wrong and how can it be corrected?

Have a look at these links I found using google.com

Hopefully all possible reasons are contained in these links. Beware there is a difference between Outlook and Outlook Express and the reasons for duplicate copies can vary between programs.

Thanks Pete - The links deal primarily with dupes in a single account. My problem is that I have 2 accounts receiving the same mail though they are only being sent to one.
As example, all e-mail to Joe@comcast is also being sent to Jim@comcast. But the Jim@comcast doesn't receive the Joe@comcast mails.

Filtering

This type of problem can occur in your rules setup for filtering (junk) emails - if all else fails delete accounts and setup again.

It has to do with the settings on the webserver @ comcast.net You have to go in and change them there, so that you only get one email.

You CANNOT have joe@comcast.net sent to jim@comcast.net and jim@comcast.net sent to joe @comcast.net, or you would have your email accounts constantly emailing each other. It's like having your home phone forward your calls to your cell phone, and then having your cell phone forward your calls to your home phone (at the same time). All you would get is a busy signal.

If you are using Outlook Express, you can have more than one account checked by this feature.
