Outdoor Directional Antenna

I have a 12 metre cable going from our outdoor directional antenna(booster) to our 3G dongle modem
on our computer. If I make the cable from our outdoor directional antenna(booster) 5 metres long only,
will our internet signal get stronger?
Does anyone have practical experience with regard to this?
My set up is this;
I got a Comba Outdoor Directional Antenna with a 10M cable NType male to SMA Male cable connected to a 2metre USB extension cable going to a
3G-USB-Mate Universal Modem Mate Coupling which is plugged into our modem which is plugged into our computer
Best regards James
