It might help if we knew what type of "burn" you're trying to do.. Is this a data disc to a DVD or CD? A movie to a DVD? Or a music CD? Are you trying to close "formatted" discs? (packet writing programs such as InCD, etc.) If that's the case, then formatted discs won't close at all.. The formatting prevents closing and is designed for copy and paste/drag and drop type of uses..
IOn the other hand, if you're creating standard data discs, in a traditional data disc burn, and you've tried multiple burning software brands, and the "Closing" option is still not there, then you've got a disk type which is not compatible with the burner, or the burner itself is wonky.. So, first, we try a different brand of disc.. If that doesn't fix it, then the burner may be faulty.
Hope this helps.
