New pc slowing down

Hey guys, during the summer vacation I assembled my own new pc and now I 'm having some trouble with it.
For a week or so now the pc has been slowing down after it has been on for a while. This slowing down doesn't really seem to occur gradually but happens suddenly and when I restart the pc then most of the time it works like a charm again, for a while.
I have tried a lot of things, I've gotten rid of a lot of programs, I've disabled some processes from starting up on startup, I've ran my AV (kaspersky), malwarebytes anti-malware and CC cleaner, I've also checked the temps, which seemed to be fine and fragmentation of the hard drives shouldn't be an issue since I have a weekly defragmentation.
My pc speccs: Gigabyte GV-N670OC-2GD (GTX670)
Asus P8Z77-V Pro
2TB WD caviar green (WD20EARX)
an older 1TB HDD of which I don't know the exact model
G.Skill Ares 8Gb DDR3 memory
a 750W PSU by corsair
Windows 7 64 bit
and an asus xonar D1 sound card
Is there any one that might be able to help? I have no idea what to do any more.
