Computer help forum: How do I get my internet back up on my TV?

You say you had "the horse racing channel onto your tv" -- from what to what?
That channel has to come from some box, what is that box?

Your TV is what? How are the various pieces connected? What sort of cable, and if you are not sure what you have can you describe them?

I plug the cord into the back of my computer..turn onto the online racing channel on my computer and hook the cable into my TV..I used to be able to go into my screen resolution and find the Samsung tv and extend the desktop to it..I forget if it was extend or duplicate actually..it all worked fine till we moved..after plugging into the tv now it shows two dell monitors.

It has nothing to do with the "online racing channel", in fact it has nothing to do with what "channel" you watch. What I believe you are trying to do is just use your TV as a second monitor for your computer. And you can do that. In fact you already know you can do that since you've done it before.

I believe what you are doing now is just using the wrong cables or ports or modes between your computer and your TV. I, or anybody else here, can help you if we knew what sort of equipment you are using. So what we need to know is what is the model of TV you have, so that we can research what capabilities and ports your TV has. Then we need to know what model of computer you have and if you have added any new or additional video cards to it. This will tell us what sort of ports you should see on it. Finally, let us know what operating system you are using, so that any instructions can be tailored to what screens and windows you should see when making the setup.
