reformatting/re-installing OS without a cd

how can i reformat and reinstall OS without using a cd?
i am using a hp 2133 mini note that doesnt have any other drive aside from C,my hard drive.
what are the other options when reformatting or reinstalling when there's no other drive?

SMALL WORLD. A few years back I owned a HP mini note and it came with the restore media (nice to have that) but you still needed some USB DVDRW to reload the OS.

As you suspect this fails your requirement that no other drive is used.

-> Today, there is no method to reload the OS without another drive.

I'm going with no since I have yet to see anyone accomplish that. If you were able to, then you could create a web site about that.

factory restore media try this link to get HP to send it to you. You will still need a external DVD drive unless you can get them to send it on a flash drive.
