computer knowledge ain't what is could be...

In control panel - system and security - system it says I have 8.00GB of installed RAM 7.78 usable. In computer it says OS (C:) 127GB free of 186GB and DATA (D:) 254GB free of 254GB. Where is the rest? The reason I'm asking is I have a few Big Fish Games (17) downloaded to my computer and it seems to be slowing things down so should I transfer the games to the D: drive and keep C: as free as possible. I have an Asus laptop with i3 new in summer of 2012. Thanks for your help

When you install any app or program you carefully watch for any option to install it elsewhere..

There is no supported or repeatable method that works in all cases. So you could try something. You can always reinstall the game you tried.

As to the RAM, you should make a new post with all the details. And let's hope you are not looking at some outdated software that only reports 4GB. In your first post you wrote "In control panel - system and security - system it says I have 8.00GB of installed RAM 7.78 usable."

So if you installed some other software that is 32 bit, it will report 4GB. This may be good for the PC support industry and I'll take that bet that someone will pay for tech support to ask why.
