My computer is having issues

I have an MSI GT780DX laptop. I just sent it in for them to get it fixed because my monitor and all my external video output were not working. They fixed that issue, but now whenever I open any type of game after about two minutes my computer automatically reboots itself. It seems like if I run any other program, whether it be a music making software or just the internet I have no issues what-so-ever. Anyone have any ideas on how I can figure out a fix, or have a fix at that? Thanks for your time guys.

No warranty.

It currently is out of warranty. It just ran out recently. Is there any other option? Once again, thanks for your time. Prior to my first problem, there were no issues like this prior.

The warranty is extended by the time in repair

It is here. But if you want to begin your new career as a laptop tech then I'd start with.

1. THE TEST.
Slip in a blank HDD from the shop counter and install the OS per the maker's instructions. Do not install more than this, do not install drive updates or ANYTHING!!! Test to see if the issue remains. If it's gone slip the user's HDD in and ask them if they want to try a fresh OS install just like you did.

2. THE USUAL WORK.
Get authorization and the waiver signed (see Becky at the office) then open it up to clean and replace all heat sink compounds. Re-assemble and re-test. If it fails, it's often the motherboard. Get a quote and supply the estimate to the office.
