Go to http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/w/microsoft_os/3323.2-6-microsoft-works-official-download-digital-river.aspx and you can download MS Works. MS no longer sells or supports Works, but you can download it from this site. Also I believe there was an update to Word to allow it to open .WPS files. Since I've kept my Works install discs, I don't use it, but I remember seeing the update a while ago.

Thanks wpgwpg....downloaded Works from the link you provided. Now when I right click, there is an "open with" option of Works, and the file opens perfectly. Just what I needed.

Why don't you download Libre Office/Open Office and give that a shot, there is a pretty good chance that it would do what you need to do. Libre Office is a free download and incorporates many and most features that MS Office uses. Many of us have used Open Office or Libre Office with Windows operating systems for some time and I personally prefer it over MS Office for many and most of the tasks I used to use MS Office for.
