my new pc wont boot up and freezes

it starts with manufacturers logo then blue aero screen then it just freezes on that for around an hour ,then goes to repair start up but that just freezes again for hours..i cant start in safe mode or command prompt as it just sticks on blue aero screen......i havent downloaded anything ,i just turned it off one night when it was workin perfectly and the next day all this happened ...gutted..it is windows 7 home 64 bit os.

Since safe mode fails, there's little to do yet.

Did you try unplugging all the USB things for a test boot?

Can you boot from a CD or DVD?

You could have a hardware problem, but to help in the problem determination I'd get a bootable disc and see if it will boot from that. You could use a repair disc, a Windows install disc, Ubuntu, UBCD, or others for a boot disc. If it will boot from one of these, you probably just have corrupt files on the hard drive, and could likely do a repair and correct the problem.

Is this a desktop or a laptop? Clone or manufactured? You said NEW, if it is new perhaps it is a warranty issue. Otherwise it sounds as if, as was mentioned, the recovery media may well be what is needed. With new manufactured computers you typically need to burn your own from the system, otherwise you contact the mfg and pay the stipend to have them send the disks to you.
