can't open hyber links except by rt clicking

When I am online & want to open a hyperlink I have to right click the mouse and select "open" from the menu. Does any one know how I might be able to fix this?
I have an E Machine with A Microsoft PS/2 mouse& a Microsoft USB keyboard. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. It has an 2.20 GHz Intel Celeron processor,2.74GB Mem & a 450 GB HD. NVIDIA GeForce 7050 Graphics card.

If you're referring to Internet Explorer, (it would help to know which version of IE you're using, as well.), please try the "resolution" in the article below.. Although it refers to earlier versions of IE, the registering of the .dll files mentioned will frequently fix the issue on Win7 as well.
