Comparison MacBook Air vs. Windows based system

My wife has a vision problem and needs at least 1366x768 screen resolution. We are contemplating a new system and are comparing the MacBook Air vs. any number of Windows based systems. Does anyone have any recommendations? One system is an HP dv6t-7200. Any help would be appreciated.

No one should buy a system on specification alone. That 1366x768 might look great on one box but not the next.

Hasn't anyone warned you about this?
