OK, google for any removal ideas that others have posted for the named problem. If you don't find an add/remove listing then you have to manually do this. In most cases, I file search and delete when I find something that relates to the toolbar or search trash. The 1st thing I do is turn-OFF restore feature so it can't rehatch from that. Next, using HIJACKTHIS pgm., run the scan mode and find any reference to that toolbar. Then, often enough there is found in "documents and programs" directory use file search mode to get those, delete. All this is done and assure yourself you got it cleaned-up, reboot. Check to see in all areas you just did, its gone, research if you have to. If OK, turn-ON restore feature again. Run an AV scan with updated status and check results, if OK, reboot and run your normal setup where that problem may have cropped-up. If nothing appears you fixed your problem.
Most toolbars or search installs come from freebie or trial s/w that in order to continue the install you MUST UNCHECK that part that installs toolbar, etc., so be aware. If in fact it appears when no such uncheck box is found, then don't trust anything that pgm., installs, ANYTHING. I use REVO uninstaller in "advanced mode" to best remove pgms., rather than add/remove from system. This does a more through removal and generally gets all the stuff installed. Notice, if you use this, just where everything got installed before you delete. A simple pgm., may have 20-30 areas dumped to and you though it was simple thing to remove manually. You should also rethink the source of that file as well. Some webfile areas aren't always going to check/scan everything they get or they haven't gotten to it yet, so new. But, you should inform them you think it was from their sources you got infected, etc.. Further, as I stated don't trust anything that was just installed even the part you really want, sooner or later too much hassle in removal will arise.
