Computer getting slow is a common issue so i found a youtube tutorial which gives tutorial on how to speed up the computer and also about maintenance.

Most new PCs have a lot of crapware promotional software running on them. You should just go into your startup configuration and remove all the programs that are non essential to the start up process. You can add them back to see which one is hogging your resources.

Check the processes in the task manager

Can you pinpoint the process or program that is eating up your resources after the ten minute slowdown period. You can just go into the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and check out the processes that are using the most memory. Just click the process tab and look at the 4th column. Then you can figure out what is going on.

i don't think its anything in there.
When i open notepad i can see it in the processes getting slowly more memory.
but this shouldnt be any problem, i got 16gb ram.

This all started when i got an error a couple of weeks ago when i rebooted my comp. It was an error about HPTouchSmartSyncCalReminderApp.exe
i then deleted some of those HP programs and now i don't get the error anymore.

CHROME!!!

That is a ridiculous amount of memory that chrome is eating up. You need to find out why. Press Shift+ESC to see which Chrome apps are eating up your memory. Chrome loads gmail which is easily 100MB. You should try another browser to see if it doesn't solve your problem.

I don't think that's it because it still laggs when chrome isnt open. And on my other comp chrome is running with 200+kb and it doesn't give any problems
