Back in August, I bought a Samsung QX411-W02 from Best Buy. Despite the praises sung by every site on the internet about it, I have had nothing but problems with it. First it started randomly blue screening. Took it to Geek Squad once, they ran a diagnostic scan and said it was fine. Took it back a second time, they said the same but fixed over 200 registry errors. Told me it wouldn't blue screen anymore. For a couple weeks it was great. Then it started blue screening again.
Now it has started this fabulous thing where it's plugged in but says it's not charging. I looked online to see what the problem could be, but got nowhere. It only told me things I already knew, it's either the battery or the charger. My question is, how do I determine which one? The problem is, I can't remove the battery from the computer. (You can see this on the review page for it.). I don't really want to drop 80 dollars for a new charger if it's the battery. Secondly, could a dying battery cause the BSODs I've been getting. And finally, will it hurt my computer if I just use it plugged in constantly for the next several weeks? I just got back to school on Saturday and have no way to take it to see about getting it fixed until I return home in early March (No car and sucky public transportation).
Sorry for the novel of a post and thanks in advance for any advice.
