Message from DragonNaturallySpeaking 11.5

The program works well; but how do I get rid of the notice below when Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5 is not running and the Dragon-supplied headset is unplugged from the computer?
"Cannot find multimedia device. Check to see if your computer has a sound card, or if wave-in component is missing from sound card."
Otherwise this is a great product.
