Hello,

I am currently thinking of purchasing a gaming computer and I'm hoping somebody will be able to tell me if it is any good for gaming.
I've listed the specs below.

i5-3450 Intel CPU (3.1GHz) + Fan - NEW IVYBRIDGE 3rd Generation CPU!
8GB DDR3 RAM (16gb Max) - 1333MHz Fast Access Branded RAM
500gb Sata III Hard Drive, 7200RPM, excellent performance and silent operation

Looks good.....my only reservation would be the PSU .

The info I found indicated it has 2-12V rails.vice a single12V rail. In systems with higher performance video cards, split 12V rails PSUs can be problematic over time.

Might be worthwhile to see what other options there are for PSUs for your system.

I myself bought a computer with similar specifications to the ones you have listed not too long ago for about $700. I personally haven't had any trouble from it and now, onto your question, you're golden on the gaming front. It'll be able to run all of the latest games and the majority of them on high settings. In my opinion, it's quite a tight set up.
