HELP! I spilled Rockstar Energy Drink on laptop. Thanks!

So i dropped a little bit of Rockstar on my laptops keyboard. All the keys work the laptop works fine. Im just note sure if it might have seeped through the keys and maybe damage will come later. Im pretty sure it went into the vent though, my laptop has an open vent at the hinge. Will this cause any problems in the future. And if so what should i do? Put in rice? Open and clean?

I usually just replace the keyboard as it's cheap and takes a few minutes on most machines.

It probably will cause problems at some later point. However that could be anywhere from minutes to years, so I'd go with Bob's suggestion. Replace the keyboard if it happens some of the keys get sticky, and if/when it starts acting up more than that, just replace it. Maybe sell it on eBay for someone who might be interested in some of the other component parts like the display panel.

Even the old keyboard is good for ebay.

I've been chided by others that need a key top and I don't replace those. I have my reasons but on ebay you can buy just a key top.

My reasons are mostly about warranty and my reputation. I don't need folk coming back with "my keyboard is still wacked after you fixed it." I used to replace key tops but learned fast it was not worth it and best left to those that will.
