Common Drive - Copying Files

We currently have a common data drive at work that is accessible to everyone in the office. We typically send saved files to a colleague that works remotely - although this person has remote access to the drive. Is there any way to automatically copy files that are updated or created into a new folder so the person accessing the common drive remotely can search just one folder instead of 50?
