so whats everybodys rating on the new ssd hardrives then are they made out to be as much as the hype about the please comment below

Nice stuff. But many caveats.

For example, mix XP and SATA SSD and you find even seasoned Windows folk turn so sour you have to let them ferment for a lot longer.

Best to investigate

If you plan to get an SSD, then pay for the more premium models. Take a cue that its best used in Win7, maybe Vista OS too. If you find a great deal, be sure it is. Some of the lesser or entry level SSD though they work may have a checked past. These SSDs are tiered it seems thus the premium comment. Further if you really have to have one, I part that "hybrid" models are the goto drives to get. Google for "TRIM command" and all it entails.
