How to wipe a HD and start over.. HELP!!!

Can someone tell me how to wipe a HD and completely start fresh.. to many issues.. blue screen of death when trying to re-load XP from bootup...

Help please so damn frustrated

A blue screen during XP install is now pretty normal.

Since the change to SATA hard drives this is a common complaint. But given I can't find the make, model and HDD details, I can't tell if it's the same old issue.

DBAN (see google) will wipe the drive clean. But the blue screen may continue if it's the usual issues.

i know partition wizard can wipe partition completely.

i think u'd better send your computer to a repair center.

Some of the disk mfgs provide utilities that will wipe

the drive....I've used the WD utility...'Data Lifeguard', to wipe drives before.

There are also other products but I'd check the ones by the drives mfgs first. Just make sure if the system has more than 1 HDD...you choose the one to WIPE carefully.
