I have been looking for something light, durable and powerful enough to be worked on for lengthy hours and for multitasking. I really had enough with computers jamming when more than one program is running or many windows are opened...
I am interested in VAIO 13.3" S Series Custom Laptop
Model Number: SVS131190X Standard especially that I will not need a video card, so no need to pay more for something I dont need.
In this regards, is there REALLY an issue with the screen? Heard its too dim compared with other laptops. I have a couple of Sony digital cameras and the screen quality is just horrible by all means. So does their laptops' have the same quality? I am not looking for a fancy resolution, dont want it to be too annoying tho.
And regarding speed and efficiency, is a 3rd generation intel processor i5-3210M enough? Or it would be a good investment to upgrade it to i5-3320M... or even i7-3520M?
Will upgrading RAM to 12 GB ACTUALLY help with avoiding jamming or i wouldnt notice the difference? Is 8 enough? 6? 4! lol I have no clue.
Finally, do you think Sony will increase the price tag when windows 8 is out and installed on Vaio laptops? Do you think waiting would be better? I will need it in 4 months time-frame.
Thank you so much for the help in advance. Any advice would be appreciated.
