why does my FRAPS stop recording after 29 seconds?

i've tried every available option in FRAPS, checked and unchecked every box i saw, but i still can't get FRAPS to record anything longer than 29 seconds. it just randomly stops recording, nothing was pressed, nothing changed, and its not an average of 29 either. i have 37 vids that i've made in my attempts to solve this problem. all of which are 29.14 seconds long. is there a hidden setting that i'm unaware of? or is the answer right in front of me and i'm just missing it?

You are running the free version which is limited to 30 seconds, if you are a registered user contact them.
