I've been having the same problem with every computer I've ever had. Every single one of them (about 5 in the past 3 - 5 years) eventually had a black screen every time I tried to turn it on.
I'm aware some of them were for different reasons, since the newest one did it but we fixed it by using this special diagnostic technique or something (I don't remember what it was exactly) but it came up on the opening screen. To see the opening screen without it just going black as soon as we turned it on, we took out this antivirus disk that was inside it.
I found that a bit strange because that disk has been in the computer since we got it (about 8 months ago).
My parents thought it must've been me downloading viruses on accident throughout the past years, but they also thought it could've been Facebook.
Many people have tried to hack Facebook and got to people's computers through Facebook. I've had my Facebook for as long as I have the computers that broke.
Please help, I'd like to know exactly or at least what might have caused my computers to only show a black screen when booted up.

You've asked such a difficult question and one which is absolutely impossible to answer.
Possibilities range from hardware problems to malware and anything in between.
I don't know what you mean by a disk inside, but generally, if a computer has a CD drive and the BIOS is set to check the CD drive first to boot from it, that is what it will do if there is a CD in the drive. if there is no CD in the drive then the BIOS will move on to boot from the hard drive.
Think of this though. The risks of malware is great and the weakest link in all the security available is us. We let the malware in. If we didn't we wouldn't need any security software.

Many machines do that if there is something plugged into the USB or there are disks in the drives or the HDD fails.
Frankly current PCs are not that reliable which has many of us becoming PC mechanics. We learn what we can to diagnose the PC and of course some won't want to do that and just replace the PC when it fails.
