Computer beeps twice on start up and cant find operating sys

Hello,
I have a old lenovo j115 desktop that used to beep 8 times on start up and the monitor would stay black and thats all that would happen. After I replaced the watch battery on the motherboard it now starts but I get two beeps and it goes to a screen like the picture in the link http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3223/20120622172929508.jpg

So I pressed F2 and then it did this

I'm using the hard drive it came with and that was the result. Maybe I wired it wrong? However when i used a older hard drive from a Windows XP computer it did the same thing but it replaced the no operating system found to NTLDR is missing. I am willing to use the older windows XP hard drive instead of the windows vista one that cant even find the operating system. However I don't even know what NTLDR is. Any help is appreciated.

You can't move drives around like that. Not only must you follow the rules about jumpers but Windows does not move like that. I can't guess what you know about this so I'll take it that you didn't know you could not move a drive with Windows and expect it to work.

I fixed it myself. I used the harddrive that the computer came with I just wired it again and got it right this time. Problem solved.

wired wrong

A good bit of advice,if it works ok leave it alone.If it's sluggish get a good tuneup utillities software like AVG TUNEUP and scan the PC for errors and hard drive fragmenting.This software gets rid of duplicated files which can clog up your PC.AVG INT SECURITY detects threats while your surfing and removes corrupted files.I have both on mine and it's super responsive.My PC never slows down.I have windows 7 and it's the best windows system yet,fingers crossed!!

If you have BIOS settings incorrect you can't declare or guess much.

Why not press Del and set it up again?

no op system

If there is no operating system it could be your memory boards are disconnected.The pc won't come on with op system it has to get information from the memory first.

NTLDR Stands for new technology loader.In other words that file is what it can't find.You may have to reinstall windows from disc and transfer files over.
