Desktop Weather? Any good ones?

Any suggestions to use FREE Weather on my desktop; living in OK, many tornado's, storms, like to keep alert.

I used WeatherChannel for yrs, but 2 wks ago, it went crazy, locked computer up, did all sorts of nutty things, so uninstalled it completely, then ran scans, cleaned all up; computer is now great, however I have NO weather alerts, on my PC desktop.

I am running WIN XP/3.

Any suggestions would be of great help. And was this Weather Channel just a "fluke issue"? Thanking you so much, Helene

One I used long ago, and I cannot say whether it is still under active development or not, is Weather Watcher. At least once upon a time, maybe not anymore I don't know, Weatherbug was known to have some spyware bundled with it, Weather Watcher did not. It may not have been as feature complete, but it certainly got the basic job done.
