While some routers can be a client, your post is incomplete. So let's complete it.

Go get a WiFi BRIDGE and then use that to one of the LAN ports of this Belkin N WiFi router and then GOOGLE THIS!!! -> How to use a router as a WAP.

That works. I've done this!

Thx mate... I disabled the DHCP . My ip config is as follows:
After disabling the dhcp which ip do I need to put in for AP, the site(http://www.dslreports.com/faq/11233) mentions about copying the ip ?( I copied the below while not connected via router.)

Ok...I have a wireless cable modem and I can connect and browse internet without any issues. I have a wireless router to which I wanted to connect the modem wirelessly as I want to connect to another computer which does not have a wireless capability.
I am looking at :
CABLE MODEM (Wireless) ------>ROUTER (Wireless "N") -------> COMPUTER (needed)

The Router model is Belkin F5D8233au4 and the modem is Netgear CG814WG.

This Belkin does NOT offer a client mode. To use this we would need a bridge unit.

If you just want to add WiFi you could try something cheap I carry with me in my repair kit? Here's the Amazon link and it's under 8 bucks to my mailbox here.

Hi Mate.. thx, cos I was searching for the bridge mode on the admin page, as there was a reference to that, but alas I did not check the models..thx..for the amazon link and you time.. I will check it out..I hope they dont put any region issues, as I reside in Sydney

Mate..my problem is solved, got a Powerline network adapter kit from NetGear and connected one of them to wireless modem and powerpoint and the other to another powerpoint where I wanted and then the router(disable the dchp) there, basically plug and play whoohooo..
