Building a computer and need some help.

My computer will be used for gaming and watching television. What type of motherboard is best and will I need two graphics cards. And which ones. I have a power source, case and hard drives. And if i am gaming will my daughter be able to watch T.V.

Are you a gamer?

Many gamers WANT the 2 to 3 video card system. (2 is for SLI and the 3 card system is for that Physics solution.)

There is no best motherboard. Tomshardware.com did a test years ago by keeping the same CPU, RAM, Video etc. but changing the motherboard. Results came in within 2 percent which was in a range where measurement error could account for that.

Frankly? If I wanted a game desktop I'd get the usual i7 CPU, 8 or 16GB RAM, some hybrid HDD and one video card from this list. -> http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html

For the power supply I'd figure out the total Wattage, double that and get a single rail design.
