Presario cq60 collapse

I have a presario cq60, and one day I got the blue screen of death. I rebooted, and the computer turned back on and functioned fine, except the battery wouldn't charge. The light that indicates that the charger is working was on, and it said that the battery was plugged in, but the battery just continued to die, until it finally ran out of juice. The next day, I tried charging it and the computer would turn on, but nothing showed up on the screen, even when I synced it with a regular computer desktop. Anyone know what the problem is, and how to fix it?

Try the generic reset

I'll give a link about that but batteries are short lived things. You didn't tell how old, and if you used the battery a lot.

Below that is the old discussion of plugged in, not charging.
