http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HP513C-R shows this to be some 1.8GHz Celeron and may not be up to the task of today's HD streams. Try one idea. Google this.
-> Disable Flash Hardware Acceleration.
Yes it's possible a driver or such but you didn't tell if you changed it from stock.

slow motion just started about 2-3 weeks ago on Firefox and Chrome. Then last week Opera started in slow motion. The only thing done was normal updates to browsers and Windows.
I unchecked(disabled) the Flash Hardware Acceleration but no effect was seen.

Maybe your internet connection has slowed down?
If it's a laptop try somewhere else.

No Kees, it is a desktop and I have cable connection with 15Mbps -20Mbps. I really think it is a Flash problem, BUT how to check when I cannot go back to earlier version of Flash.

Desktops are movable also, although it takes somewhat more trouble.
But - if you think it's a Flash issue - why not uninstall it and install the old version you like from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Archived_versions

Well I did it! I uninstalled all Flash related programs(3) and went back to older version(10.1.82.76). I also had to uninstall Chrome(Flash is already a part of Chrome) and went back to 17.0.963.79. AND, since I went to older version, the automatic update does not work!
