Transferring music

On my old HP Pavillion I downloaded music via Limewire and now I want an easy way to transfer it to my newer Windows laptop. I have an external hard drive, but I have run into problems with the music files playing properly (ex: Itunes which I could care less for). Ultimately, I want my music to be on my Andriod.

There's no difference between transferring music and transferring any other file between Windows computers. An external hard disk or a USB-stick are fine tools for that.

Copying files to your Android tablet (or phone?) is different, of course. But if you can do it from Windows, you can do it from your Pavillion just as well as from your newer laptop.
