I'm using Paragon Partition Manager to try and create a partition on a USB drive. I was able to create the partition itself, but am having trouble formatting it. Whenever it tries, Paragon asks to shut my computer down to format the partition in boot time. In boot time, the operation shows up, claims to have succeeded, and then an error message pops up complaining that the disk is absent. I have also tried the alternate method of closing all potentially interfering programs and trying while the computer remains on, but that does not work either. Is there an alternate method for formatting the partition?
