Totally describe my reaction to all of the "Request for help" topic starting posters, here.

Is this a joke? Are you being serious? Well, I really have no idea how to respond to this really common problem without, straight out, insulting your intelligence.

Jim, maybe, Cnet's web site administrators really do not want you around, nagging people about their deep knowledge of computers. Hmm? Ever thought of that. Just look at your post count of your profile. Mine barely reaches the 325 posts in 2 whole years.

To add to all this: I am a vivid PC and Arcade games' gamer. Posting in forums is not my outmost priority. Have an adult life to maintain on top of that. Not rich, have to commute to a real life, physical world's job, to sustain my everyday life's needs.

Honestly not sure where it is you're trying to go with any of that. The last couple posts of yours I've seen make absolutely no sense, and seem almost like you didn't even read the post at all. I was trying to give you an easy way out... Saying you just got mixed up with some other post or something, but then you had to go and post the above.

And personally, I've never really considered my time management skills to be anything particularly special, but time and time again I run into people who say something to the effect of "how do you manage to do all that?" So one or two people I could probably write off as a fluke, but I have literally been accused of being two or more people in the past because of the level of output I generated. There was some question as to whether or not one person could do that much. So, I guess I have to take that all collectively as a sign that I have some pretty impressive time management skills. Believe it or not I'm actually a pretty avid book reader. I've taken a shine to the Warhammer 40K series of late, and probably read 2-3 dozen books under that general banner in just the last couple of months. Every book in the Horus Heresy sub-series, all the Night Lords books to date, a good chunk of Ciaphas Cain series (LOVE those books), on the last book in the Blood Angels series, and probably some others I'm forgetting in there. My kindle gets used pretty extensively, let's put it that way. I still find time to play some video games of my own, like I just finished Mass Effect 3 the other day, so now I understand why everyone was so upset with the ending. I post here, keep up with TV shows, and every now and then do a good deed and get one of my friends out of the house before his wife chops him into little pieces. Don't ask me how I do it all, because I don't know. I never considered it anything special.

I never read fantasy books. Do not play that intensely on video games. And, will never follow-up much on specific TV shows.

Guess that, I will never be a hobbyist, lobbyist such as you, ever. Well, at least you're married. What happened to your social life? You must have left it with your old single status, way back there, in the past.

I must be doing lots of forum reading here and there and, watching way too many movies, to do whatever you do.

Why do I care about any of these things? And why are you wasting your time whining like a little girl on a forum about how I was mean to you? You don't like what I say, that's your prerogative, and I really could give a flying flip. I'm not here to impress the great LucJPatenaude.

Part of what I am here to do, is point out misinformation when I see it. Like how you seemed to think the OP was trying to run Google Chrome inside Firefox, when all the OP said was that they have Chrome and Firefox installed on the same computer. Also, Chrome is not a "more advanced browser" than Firefox. In some ways Chrome is more advanced, in other ways Firefox is more advanced. Extensions like NoScript and AdBlock Plus are simply not possible on Chrome as anything more than pale imitations of the Firefox versions. Firefox has the only extension API where extensions can actually insert themselves into the rendering engine, so AdBlock Plus on Firefox can actually prevent the rendering engine from downloading advertisements, whereas on Chrome first the page loads, then the extension goes in and rerenders the page minus the ads. It's an ugly and inefficient method of doing things.

Then there was your other post in a different thread which I let stand with some BS about needing to update the BIOS to make it compatible with a video card that has been in the system since it shipped from the factory. Not sure what orifice you pulled that one from, but maybe you should focus your fishing expeditions elsewhere in the future.

Grow up and stop acting like a whiny little girl. If you actually contribute something useful I'll let it stand, but any time you start spouting nonsense, I will call it as much whenever I see it. Now if you'll stop polluting this thread, and others, with your whining, the rest of us can get on with actually helping people.

That was my suspicion, I just didn't want to say anything to get you too focused on any given extension.
