So, the psu on my old pc died and I went to build a new one.
I first used the same cpu, gpu, and hd but had to buy new ram and a new cpu cooler to fit the mobo.
Before, the computer did not give a video signal (it died after a power surge) and the cpu fan did not spin and neither did my video card fan. I suppose it could have been the motherboard.
Anyways, I purchased some new ram. It was labeled "AMD" or whatever, but I don't think that matters. It was this one:

So now, my new computer has the same problem. I put my old cpu in there with a new cooler, put in my new ram and connected the hd and video card.
My monitor decided to die the minute I ordered the new parts so I ordered a new monitor as well. I am currently using it with vga with my laptop.
My new computer has a vga and dvi built in video so I tried both connections and both dvi on my gpu as well as both built in with gpu removed and still nothing.
I ended up getting a new cpu as well and that changed nothing.
So now, I have a new cpu, new cooler, new ram, new mobo, new psu, new case. Only the same gpu and hd are being used. I believe it should boot up without both and at least show me a load up screen for BIOS.
But so far nothing and I tried 2 different dvi cables as well.
What do you guys think?
