Fingerprint Log In How To?

I have a new hp ProBook4530s. During initial set up I opted out of Fingerprint log on. I now want to try it but cannot find the yes/no options in Settings for the life of me. Any help on this? Also, is Drive Encryption needed at boot up? This adds another log in step.

I have an older HP but all I have to do is to run my finger across the fingerprint reader and the program will open automatically. When it opens, look for a button named manage, click it and you should be able to take it from there. When you start to register a fingerprint it will ask you for the Windows log in password. I recommend that you register 2 fingerprints. This I found out the hard way after a bad cut on the finger I had registered. lol As far as encryption is concerned that is up to you and how sensitive the data is on the laptop.
