T42 Lenovo Help Computer freezes/Wont Turn on

i think its either my power input has messed up some wiring back there because it was loose for a couple days before it stopped working and it was constantly plug/unpluging. Or it could be a memory chip fried or something like that due to that action or just normal wear and tear? My computer rarely starts when i push the po<span class="text_exposed_show">wer button only the battery and "working" icon blink on but the laptop screen black. Sometimes when i force shutdown after theese instances it omits a beep but this is not always the case. Even more rarely my computer turns on normally but then freezes a few minutes of operation. When this happens the computer stays lit the battery and "working" icon still blink but everything else freezes. Its a T42 lenovo. I dont really want to do a data reset
