'Inaccessible' Files

Hello folks,

My computer got infected with virus that won't give me access to any of my files or antivirus. Only option I had was to copy the files to external HDD using USB linux and restore PC to the factory defaults.

Now the computer is restored, first I am syncing all files to my old backups to make sure that latest backups are available on every disk. I am using Syncback (free) for this purpose. For some weird reason, Syncback is complaining that it can not access the files..

Any idea what I can do about it?

Failed to work

This was the virus that had infected my machine. Since I restored machine, I deleted everything from the laptop. Still I ran Malwarebytes to see if anything is there but there was none. I ran unhide.exe as well and nothing has changed.

Its little weird. Syncback says that the files are not accessible but when I try to open those files, I can open them...

Sounds like an ownership issue.

Syncback's settings are also in question. It's possible you have it set to one way sync but you only need to check that out.
