Ok ... i have a network at work containing 4 computers and 2 wireless devices ... sometimes when i try to connect another device(laptop) it wont connect...
i did this simple thing.... turned of router ... all LAN cables pulled out...then i put power back on and wait to router starts normaly...after doing that i put back cables (LAN) 1 by 1 (so DNS server doesnt mess up) and then wireless devices 1 by 1 .... that worked for me...

Some routers have these problems i had those on TP Link and Belkin series.

1. Are you sure you're entering the WEP security key correctly?
Just enter it once, select the Connect Automatically option and proceed to connect to the network.

2. Also, was your ebook reader connected to the wireless network, when you were attempting the above through your laptop?

3. Have you tried disabling your laptop's wireless network adapter and enabling it back again?

4. Have you tried looking within the Router settings to remove possible restrictions?

Typically, once you create a wireless network, any number of devices should be able to connect to it easy!

Thanks for the replies..
I have entered the correct security key..and I have checked and double checked everywhere for any possible restrictions..
The steps are quite simple if they work. I understand how it works. But it does not. Work. Connect.
Although it does recognize the connection..
About the only thing that I haven't tried is to turn off and unplug my router and re-plug and re establish a connection.. ..as suggested by the first poster.
I just haven't had time this week due to work...
and also , If I try that and it doesn't work I think I'll just pull out my hair..

Strangely..I don't remember doing anything special to connect my router with my ebook..only entered the security key.....Typically, I do not use it wirelessly though..Just that once.
But to my knowledge, nothing has changed.
This is a new laptop. I have never had it connected.
