Error 'bcmwltry.exe - unable to locate component'

I have another computer here that is a Inspiron mini using XP home edition. This error pops up ALL the time that says 'bcmwltry.exe - unable to locate Component'. 'This application has failed to start becasue Nornaliz.dll was not found...' I can click OK but it immediately pops up again. If I am quick, I can gradually get my password typed in and then I am logged on. But never will the start putton appear nor any of my icons.

I was able to click ctrl + alt + del and try to stop the process but it would immediately restart.

What shall I do?

I'd uninstall that program. Then reinstall if you need it.

Still stuck

I checked out that link, but the problem is that I cannot figure out how to get to where I can add or remove anything. This error always pops up and the start button never appears.

Have you tried starting in SAFE MODE ...

In your regular account you should be able to access the Add/Remove applet by using the old three finger salute (pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys at the same time) which opens Task Manager.

Now click on the Applications tab and at the bottom select the New Task button.

Type in appwiz.cpl and the Add/Remove Programs applet should open for your use.
