Cannot find plug in for Adobe Flash 10.1

I use Firefox. Downloaded the latest release and it keeps telling me I need to download Adobe Flash Player 10.1. When I go to do it, it tells me it can't find any correct plug ins. I am running WIN XP .

Also noticed after the Firefox upgrade the when I go to access the drop down menu on the 'Actions' tab on FlickR in order to see a larger example of a photo, I now have two colored dots that just spool. Did not have this issue before the download.

Help!!

Direct Downloads Of Flash

Direct downloads for the current version of Flash Player:

Flash Player for IE:
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

Flash Player for Non-IE browser (Opera, Firefox etc):
http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe

Clicking on the links above will immediately open the download dialogue window. After installing Firefox, download the version of above for Firefox, then simply run it.

Please note, a new version of Flash will be released again in the first part of November which fixes a few newly found vulnerabilities but till that time, the version at the link above is appropriate..
