Computer help forum: backup to CD

backup to CD

I use CD-RW(formatted) to back up QuickBooks 2003 Pro. Each company backs up separately. Using the back up that QB has as a part of program. Sometimes it says a CD is full, but when I check it--it has lots of room. Actually, should never get full, because it asks if I want to overwrite existing data and I say yes. This isn't a major problem--just trying to add to my knowledge.
Also don't understand why some data will copy to CD without format--other times have to format. Use Roxio 6.

Reply #7 at http://tinyurl.com/wpxo is interesting. Reply #8 missed it by not using QB to do that backup. But Reply #8 is correct in their own right, but may not be if you run this from QB.

YMMV

And do pester QB's support about this as I can't test this since I don't have your selection of software.
