e-mailing pictures

Hi..I have just upgraded to Windows 7 Premium...I t doesn't have a default e-mail program anymore so I've been using Hotmail..It used to be with Outlook Express, you right click on pictures to send out, it would automatically resize them for you and open up the e-mail program. Now I can't for the life of me drag and drop any pictures into hotmail. If I do manage, it's one picture at a time and they're super large files. What am I doing wrong? There must be an easier way. Thanks!!

I just solved my own problem! Like everyone else I missed the simplicity of Outlook Express after upgrading to Windows 7. I originallyt signed up with Windows Live so I could still e-mail. Now I'm using Thunderbird through Firefox. It is also my default e-mail program. Runs just like outlook!! NICE!!!
