Live view from camera on computer screen

HP G70 460
Pan LUMIX FZ28
I have a USB cord for the camera

I want to see wha the camera sees on my computer screen
I have a vidio/USB that works on the TV with a reg banana plug

Can this computer not do it ?
OR
Do I need another program to do it ?
Has Win Movie maker but doesn't pick up the LUMIX

???

TanX foor any help or advice

Very few cameras offer this feature.

It's a feature you see on few cameras. So it's not a matter of your computer but if the camera maker supplied such a feature.

I ave a banana plug for the tv video input so I can see what the camera sees so it seems that the camera is capable
but that the computer is not ?
It doesn't have a tv tuner--is that the only way it would work ?

You might add that to your machine. If I were to guess this would be called a TV Tuner Card. I like the ones from Hauppauge.com
