Despite what it says, the driver update check within Device Manager doesn't really work as designed.. As I mentioned earlier, you'll need to visit the card manufacturer's website and see if there is an updated version for your computer.
To check the graphics card and the driver version for such, you'll need to access the Device Manager.. There are a number of ways to get there on Windows 7. Below are just a couple.
1. Click on Start-Control Panel, then open the "System and Security" link, then click on "Device Manager" link which may be under the "System" heading, (If you're using large or small icons, simply click on "Device Manager"), then click on the + sign next to "Display Adapters".
2. Click on the Windows 7 Start button, then type the following command in the search box, and then hit the Enter key.
As before, once in Device Manager, click on the + sign next to "Display Adapters".
