Re: Porn pops up when internet explorer connects?
I've read all the posts, and before you ask, I've had a similar problem myself. There is only one sure way to stop it. As you're running XP. it's fairly simple, go to Windows Explorer, and on your C drive, look for Documents and Settings. there are usually 3 sub-files, sometimes more. Open each one and look for another sub-file named Cookies. Open these and delete all the cookies: use [Edit\Select All] then right click on your mouse with the ccursor hovering over the selected area and click [delete].
This will delete all your cookies, what''s happened is that you've got one or more theat point your Internet Browser to a porn site.
Also, click on [Start\Settings\Control Panel} for the Internet Options. On the General Tab, look to see that your home page address has not been altered, if it has, just alter it back and click [Apply] at the bottom of the page, you should find that it will run OK now, though in some cases you will have to re-enter the details for some pages.
