Why does my lap top keep shutting down

I have a dell studio 1537 and it keeps shutting down.I use it for work and constantly have to save every thing. This is reallly becoming a pain. Help

Probably heat. Check the fans and the CPU temp.

Hi, Im new to this site and wondered if someone can diagnose a problem for me?I have a laptop and recently it keeps on shutting down without warning, the fan kicks in (quite loudly) and then total loss of power.Please help me to recover the problem.
