WARNING : UNRESPONSIVE SCRIPT
by bently - 12/19/08 5:25 AM
Something new to me... Just started in past couple of days.
several sites slow down to a crawl and I get a popup... Happens every time I go to these sites. (Kelly Blue Book is one site)
WARNING : UNRESPONSIVE SCRIPT
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responcing. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will compete.
I have a choice of 'STOP SCRIPT', or 'CONTINUE'.
Clicking CONTINUE, circles to another warning box.
Clicking STOP SCRIPT allows the site to load, after a short delay.
What is SCRIPT? Why would "CONTINUE" just circle back to the warning popup.
Could/should it be stopped from popping up at all?
Thanks
Ben
