Scanner stopped working

Using Vista Home Premium with Canon Canosvcan Lide 70.
Suddenly I cannot get the Scanner to work. I keep getting the message "ABBY Fine Reader OCR Engine. C\Program Files\New Soft\ Presto Page Manager 7.15\ rpp371.jrt\ was not found.
I then get another message " Microsoft Winfdows. Presto Scan Button Has Stopped Working"
I have checked all connections and they seem okay. Unfortunately I cannot find the original installation CD so unable to uninstall and re-install.
All suggestions gratefully received.

Time to order the CD.

Without it, you can't correct the missing file "rpp371.jrt"
