Application windows constantly losing focus.

I am having a new issue with my Vista desktop. Every few seconds to a few minutes my current window will lose focus. No other application gains the focus, Vista just becomes unfocused. The newest addition to my PC is a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 7000 and the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000. I believe it is a bluetooth issue, but how do I get it to stop. I generally play games and do chat or web browsing. Mouse clicking is the only thing that isn't really impacted, otherwise the system is currently barely usable.

Caused by other program

I had the same problem with my application windows losing focus every few seconds. I'm running on Vista Business.

Found out the problem - caused by Sony Ericsson's PC Suite v3.2. When the PC Suite is activated (even if minimized into tray-bar), other application windows lose focus every few seconds.

I suspect this may be due to the software searching for my phone via Bluetooth. My phone's Bluetooth connection is usually disabled.

Closing the PC Suite solved the problem for me.
