Ctrl Alt Delete isn't working correctly

When I hit ctrl alt delete it only opens a cpu monitor - no other tabs - no way to close or anything. Help!

I had a problem with the headings disappearing. A Post from 2004 showed me how to double click on the margin. Yeah. The headings reappeared.
